This policy is issued by BVM Global Education Trust, which operates BVM Kids, BVM Global and BVM International schools under the trading name “BVM Global Schools” (“we”, “us”, “the School”) (“Website”, “Services” refer to bvmglobal.org, its campus subdomains, and any associated apps). Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”), we are a “Data Fiduciary” for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy applies to visitors to our Website, including prospective parents making enquiries, current parents, and, in limited circumstances described in Section 6 below, students. It does not apply to information we collect through offline, in-person processes (paper forms at admission) — that is covered by the separate admissions Privacy Notice.

Our Website and Services are intended for use by parents, guardians, and other adults acting on behalf of a child. Where any content is intended for direct use by students (who are minors under the DPDPA, defined as anyone under 18), we process any personal data involved on the basis of verifiable parental or guardian consent, in line with Section 9 of the DPDPA.
We do not use behavioural tracking, profiling, or targeted advertising directed at children, in line with Section 9(3) of the DPDPA (see Section 5 above).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your knowledge, or you wish to access, correct, or request deletion of information about your child, please contact us using the details in Section 11.
We will only send you newsletters, event updates, or promotional communications if you have affirmatively opted in — for example, via a clearly unticked checkbox on a form. If you opted in previously, you may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any communication; withdrawal will not affect any other consent you have given us.

Your information may be processed or stored outside India, including by service providers described in Section 8. Under Section 16 of the DPDPA, cross-border transfer is permitted by default unless the Central Government specifically restricts transfer to particular countries or prescribes additional conditions; no such restriction currently applies to our processing. We take reasonable steps to ensure any recipient of your data outside India maintains appropriate safeguards.
We retain information collected through the Website only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, in line with our Retention Schedule. Enquiry-stage data not followed by an application is generally retained for 12 months, or deleted earlier on request.
Under the DPDPA, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and to raise a grievance with us or with the Data Protection Board of India.
