The event reverberated with devotional fervour as students showcased their musical talents, singing melodious hymns and songs mostly in praise of the elephant-headed deity. The performances were not only musically enchanting but also spiritually uplifting, captivating the hearts of the audience. The Chathurti Concert served as a remarkable attempt in eliciting from students their acumen for music. It was but a scintillating euphony when the students of classes 3 and 4 sang ‘Sree Ganeshaya Deemahi’. Students of classes 6 to 8 gave a sublime performance of the song ‘Prabho Ganapathe’ in such flawless unison. There were also solo song renditions by students of higher classes which was no less than the harmonious group performances. The apparent show-stopper of the entire concert was the ‘Thaala Vrundha’, a jaw-dropping assemblage of percussion instruments keeping up with the recital of ‘Thaala Jathis’ set to Adhi Thaala. It is impossible not to mention that the arrangements and training of students were made in a span of three days.
At the end of the concert the student participants and parents heartily accepted the sacred food or ‘Prasadam’. It was an evening filled with harmonious melodies and divine energy, celebrating the auspicious presence of Lord Ganesha.
