<p>Library day was celebrated on 7 th November and the period from 1 st October to 7 th November 2022</p> <p>was observed as Library month.</p> <p>Drop Everything And Read (DEAR):</p> <p>The rule for the day was to carry your own reading material during school hours i.e. (8:30</p> <p>a.m. to 3.20 p.m.). When the bell rang three times everyone was expected to drop everything and</p> <p>read. Then again, when the bell rang three times the entire school resumed back to their routine</p> <p>schedule. The reading time was for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon.</p> <p>At the stroke of the three bells in the morning and afternoon, the entire campus went silent. It was</p> <p>an amazing silence!!! A full 40 minutes of happy reading time was allotted. The Principal,</p> <p>students, staff and everyone present in the premises at that time read. The task was to conceive, create, write and illustrate their own story in</p> <p>their own preferred style. They were expected to present their work colourfully. The reviewer</p> <p>had to review the book before submission. They were given parameters to review the books.</p> <p>The best books &ldquo;author-illustrator-reviewer&rdquo; will be published and kept in the library for the</p> <p>students to access and read.</p> <p>Read.
