Yoga and music enable us to reconnect with ourselves, bringing health, peace, and harmony into our lives. With this thought in mind, on June 21, 2024, BVM Global Perungudi celebrated World Yoga Day and International Music Day with great enthusiasm. The school premises were filled with excitement as students, teachers, and staff engaged in various activities to emphasize the importance of yoga and music. An informative speech on World Music Day and Yoga Day was delivered, setting the tone for the celebration. The children's choir captivated everyone with mesmerizing group songs, and students showcased their musical talents with different instruments.

An instrumental exhibition, featuring various instruments on display, was a major highlight. Children eagerly listened to and experimented with the sounds of these instruments. The event had a yoga session that included yoga poses, Suryanamaskar was demonstrated by more than 50 students with a step-by-step commentary on the benefits of each pose and which organ it was targeted to help. Breathing exercises, and meditation techniques were demonstrated by students. Students participated with great gusto. The value of incorporating yoga and music into daily routines for a balanced and healthy life was reiterated. The collective enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers made the day a memorable and enriching experience.
