The students of class 5 participated in a workshop aimed at raising awareness about conserving

water bodies and the importance of tree planting.

Mr.Sharun from EFI- The environmentalist Foundation of India addressed the students about the

significance of water bodies and tree planting. The students actively engaged in discussions

about the local water bodies in Chennai and their current condition.

The students came up with a lot of ideas in conserving the water bodies and extended their

willingness to participate in the beach clean up program. They also eagerly agreed to the plan of

growing saplings in the school campus and planting the same in identified areas as suggested by

the activist.

The newfound knowledge and enthusiasm will definitely inspire positive actions in the future.
