The annual sports meet for tiny tots, was held on February 17th, 2023, at the D.B. Jain Grounds.  It turned out to be a delightful and memorable event. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Arun Krishnamoorthy, the Chief Superintendent of Police, as the Chief Guest.  

Our Principal, Mr. V.G Suresh, and Vice-Principal, Ms. Sumati Ratnam, accompanied the guest of honor during the march past and alongside the band students. 

The Chief Guest's arrival was marked with a warm welcome, including a bouquet and formal greetings, setting a respectful and welcoming tone for the gathering of parents and children present to witness the grand event.

The sports meet commenced with the hoisting of the School Flag and the declaration of the meet open by Shri Arun Krishnamurthy, adding an official and ceremonial touch to the proceedings. The vibrant event featured field displays such as drill and Kalaripayattu, intermixed with energetic track events by the primary-grade students, showcasing their enthusiasm and skills.

Additionally, a special event was conducted for parents, adding an extra touch of excitement and creating an extravaganza for all attendees.

The closing ceremony provided a fitting conclusion to the event, where medals, trophies, and certificates were awarded to the tiny tots, recognizing their participation and achievements. The surreal atmosphere and the lasting memories created during the program made it a truly special and memorable day for teachers, non teaching staff, and students alike.

Such sports meets not only promote physical activity but also instill values of teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition among young children. It's heartwarming to see the dedication and effort put into organizing this event.
